   May-29-05 Azmaiparashvili vs A Petrosian, 1989 (replies)
BlazingArrow56: Time to start ignoring these idiots that wait like its freakin christmas day to post first. Which begs the question, if noone cares to see thier posts are they really first!?!?
May-22-05 Sultan Khan vs Menchik, 1932 (replies)
BlazingArrow56: Honza was first by over two years. :-(
   May-20-05 Vyzmanavin vs V S Zhidkov, 1985 (replies)
BlazingArrow56: Such a tame looking position has some sharp tactics goin on.
   May-16-05 Adams vs J Levitt, 1993 (replies)
BlazingArrow56: Adams unleashes an astonishing combo. Starting with 23. c3! and after exchanging rooks the shot 27. Qe7! is curtains. Black's rook cannot stay on the d-file and Ng4 will end it.
May-14-05 Timman vs Karpov, 1980 (replies)
BlazingArrow56: I've looked at a lot of Karpov's games lately. Impeccable technique is a trademark for this guy. I think strong players can appreciate his style of play more than beginners who like fireworks.
   May-14-05 A Anastasian vs A Minasian, 2005 (replies)
BlazingArrow56: or should I say "her", I can't tell!
May-12-05 Short vs Karpov, 1997 (replies)
BlazingArrow56: Absolute strangulation. Short had no chance.
   May-11-05 D Mastrovasilis vs C Lutz, 1999 (replies)
BlazingArrow56: great game!
   May-10-05 Max Euwe (replies)
BlazingArrow56: I gotta disagree with Max. Maybe I'm misunderstanding his quote. Are you supposed to play to win the queen? True there are positions when a direct mate is not gonna happen, but you should always play to mate first when you can.
May-07-05 Lautier vs Karpov, 1997 (replies)
BlazingArrow56: 11. ...Bxf3!? Blacks steamroller appears to be ample compensation for the piece.
