Aug-18-18 Nimzowitsch vs Capablanca, 1927 (replies)
ClockPunchingMonkey: Ray Keene's suggestion of 7...Qa6 could be met by 8. Qh3 with advantage to white. Capa's 7....c5 is the strongest move on the board.
   Jun-25-18 Lombardy vs A Saidy, 1969
ClockPunchingMonkey: A grueling game. Lombardy tried to test Saidy's patience and bait him into doing something stupid. It didn't happen.
Jun-24-18 Spassky vs Fischer, 1972 (replies)
ClockPunchingMonkey: I doubt it. I think Fischer came up with ...Nh5 over the board.
   Jun-22-18 Capablanca vs Tartakower, 1939
ClockPunchingMonkey: It does look like Calli's 24. Bb4 gives white an edge, but how much is unclear.
Jun-21-18 Tarrasch vs Reti, 1922 (replies)
ClockPunchingMonkey: It's too bad. I would take black's position after 17 moves every time. Reti had the right idea but was a little careless in allowing Nf5 from white.
Jun-14-18 Fischer vs Spassky, 1972 (replies)
ClockPunchingMonkey: Well, Spassky did set that clever trap that Reuben Fine fell into when writing a book. (White plays 28. Rf7, black replies ...Ng5). That was certainly a good try by Spassky.
   Jun-14-18 Capablanca vs G A Thomas, 1929 (replies)
ClockPunchingMonkey: Capa went a little crazy letting black have the strong b pawn. He was fortunate to still get a draw.
   Jun-12-18 Fischer vs K Hense, 1961
ClockPunchingMonkey: It doesn't start off this way, but the middle game more or less resembles Fischer playing the white side of a King's Indian against the sort of a attack he more typically played as black. It must have been an interesting experience for Fischer.
   Jun-07-18 Fischer vs F Saksena, 1955 (replies)
ClockPunchingMonkey: 6....Nf6 wasn't bad. 7. Nxf5 d5 gives black some play.
Jun-03-18 Kan vs Lasker, 1935 (replies)
ClockPunchingMonkey: Wonderful game by Lasker.
