Apr-12-04 Oll vs Ulibin, 1989 (replies)
JGD: actually 9...h6 is respectable. Qe7 in place of f6 gives black relative equality since Ng5 can conveniently be met with f6, giving black an advantage now that the h7 square is defended.
Feb-17-04 Anand vs Shirov, 2004 (replies)
JGD: The position after (40. a4) seems to me to be a draw. Shirov, typically quite a good endgame player, blunders with (40. ...Rb4?)and gives Anand a clearly won position.

JGD: One of my favorite Petrosian games

JGD: Alchemist: you are quite a hilarious character. I like this "mating positions" discussion.

JGD: So that's how Costner spent his time with the natives in Dances With Wolves!
   Aug-13-03 Judit Polgar (replies)
JGD: I am really looking forward to the mainz event, especially the Fischerandom match between Svidler and Leko. The rapid "battle of the sexes match should be exciting too. I hope that my girl Judit wins the 8 game match!

JGD: I thought his first name was Viorel.
