"In the game of chess, you never let your opponent see your pieces." - Zapp Brannigan (Futurama)

I'm 20 years old and a class A player. I have appeared on this site on and off for about 6 years now under various guises (JuliusDS, Averageguy, Silverstrike). Favourite players are Garry Kasparov and Magnus Carlsen.

JuliusDS: I got to move 31 but had Rbc1 instead of Ra1. Missed 31...Rxg2+

JuliusDS: Apparantly the live chess "broadcast" is free for everyone, but when I click on it I'm told that only premium members may spectate. Does anyone know what's up here?

JuliusDS: Why isn't Carlsen playing?

   Mar-12-12 M S Rodriguez vs A J Goldsby, 2011

JuliusDS: Strange opening - the bishop on d3 seems to offer no advantage compared to the more natural c4 or even e2 square. Perhaps just a case of playing offbeat lines for the sake of offbeatedness? It's particularly the dragon set up which makes it look foolish - <LMAJ>, was this one

JuliusDS: Instructive use of the two bishops from black.

Mar-09-12 Radjabov vs Karjakin, 2012 (replies)

JuliusDS: Got this! Quite pleased with myself.

   Mar-04-12 J Sammour-Hasbun vs B G Smith, 2007 (replies)

JuliusDS: Talk about creative play all the way through - but isn't the final position a win for white?

   Mar-03-12 V Gashimov vs R Kempinski, 2011 (replies)

JuliusDS: <Let's agree to disagree.> Good idea.

   Jan-09-12 Graf-Stevenson vs Semmler, 1932 (replies)

JuliusDS: That was harder than yesterday! :P

   Dec-05-11 Garry Kasparov (replies)

JuliusDS: Has anyone here bought Kasparov's new book on his own games? And if so, how does it compare to earlier works like The Test of Time and Igor Stohl's best games collections?
