I live in Nova Scotia and was first inspired as a youngish man of 18 by the openings, games and play of Lawrence Day (I play the Modern and even the Tchigorin French, eh?). I achieved the (Canadian) National Master title some years ago.

NMAlvahMayo: Hi Lawrence, It seems they picked my Q sac game (briefly discussed here earlier) against Uuetoa for the GOTD for September 12th. Small world eh? I also bought your book on the Nick at the recent RA tournament. Canadian author plus Canadian master made it a forced variation.
