Paint My Dragon: Another <Opening Explorer> issue ... If I use the upper right button to flip the board to view the game as Black, then it only remains this way for a few moves before automatically flipping itself back to White's viewpoint. Any subsequent flip by me is reversed again ...

Paint My Dragon: Thanks Floryn, Yes, I will try sending you an email in the next few days. This will enable me to send you those games as photo attachments, or maybe .jpg files, whichever format works best. As I continue to go through your PDF, I am finding a few differences between our ...

Paint My Dragon: Christopher Dean? No wonder cg.com are skating on thin ice these days ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E8o...

Paint My Dragon: Well, six years on and this is still confusing. Bearing in mind Phony Benoni's first impressions above - that Subramania<m> had been used in a contemporaneous tournament report and USCF rating list - I would add that Richard Shorman's contemporary newspaper articles ...

Paint My Dragon: The extra moves do appear to form a more logical conclusion to the game. Why does cg.com call it an "Indian Game: Yusupov-Rubinstein System"? It looks for all the world like a variant of the Colle System, which is presumably why it features in Harvey's book.

Paint My Dragon: <Zugz> That would be the Log Cabin Invitational in West Orange, 7-22 August. Ten players, and quite a strong field when you consider that Sherwin finished last). Lombardy 7/9, Benko 6.5, Evans 6, Bisguier, R Byrne 5 ... etc.

Paint My Dragon: The recordings were usually October, with screenings the following January. Must have taken a lot of editing what with the separately recorded commentary and state of the art graphics!

Paint My Dragon: Quite a forgotten player. Yet he finished 5th= at the BCF Ch. of 1962, represented England at the Student Olympiad the same year, and had two promising results at Hastings: 1st at the Reserves B in 61/2 and 2nd at the Reserves A in 62/3.
