Jan-29-10 Shirov vs Kramnik, 2010 (replies)

Perley: <botvinnik64> transmission error. I know made me double take as well.

   Dec-10-09 D Howell vs Carlsen, 2009 (replies)

Perley: Howell is now quite a bit worse now. Had he went Nxa7 route, I think a draw would have been in the cards. Now the exchange down and no protected passers as compensation, it looks pretty grim.

Nov-10-09 Gelfand vs Kramnik, 2009 (replies)

Perley: Now comes the long grind of what to do in a somewhat precarious time pressure position.

   Oct-06-09 Carlsen vs Y Wang, 2009 (replies)

Perley: I agree that Natalia's comments were not really well justified. Over all though she's done a great job so far. But the thing that's just not right is mentioning Korchnoi's comment when she herself should not be excluded from this. Only being 24, I can hardly consider her experienced ...

Sep-23-09 Kasparov - Karpov Rapid Match (2009) (replies)

Perley: I think this will show Kasperov is like Lasker. He doesn't get worse with age, he only gets better.

Jul-04-09 Naiditsch vs Leko, 2009 (replies)

Perley: <malthrope> lol

Jul-04-09 Carlsen vs Kramnik, 2009 (replies)

Perley: oops I spoke too late!

Jul-03-09 Leko vs Carlsen, 2009 (replies)

Perley: This feels like a boring game already.

Jul-02-09 Carlsen vs Jakovenko, 2009 (replies)

Perley: <YouRang> I would suppose exceptions lie in the kings' positions. Also the amount of islands black has compared to white is a pretty decisive factor in this particular position.

Feb-23-09 Topalov vs Kamsky, 2009 (replies)

Perley: I like black's position here. The underdevelopment is nicely offset by the solidity of the pawns. Topalov seems to be doing all he can to crack open this can early and make a break for the king.
