   Feb-16-10 G Vescovi vs P Maletin, 2010

   Oct-01-09 H van Riemsdijk vs A D Goldsmith, 2009

Phebas: 38.Rxd5! is a nice move. If black plays 38. ...Nxd5, the queen is dead. If black plays 38. ...Qxd5, then white plays 39.Bb3 and the queen is trapped.

   Sep-13-09 A Fier vs W Moreno, 2009

Phebas: 9. ...b5 is a strange move. I didn´t understand why Moreno makes this move. Anyone can explain for me? Fier is fire on the board!

   Sep-13-09 R Hart vs H van Riemsdijk, 2008

Phebas: 55. ...Rxd4 is a nice touch. After 56.Kxd4, black will play 56. ...Bb1 and it´s all over.

   Nov-06-08 J Polgar vs D Lima, 1989 (replies)

Phebas: Vienna Game against a GM? This is not a good idea, doesn´t matter if you´re a rookie or Mrs. Polgar.

   Oct-06-08 G Vescovi vs Bachmann, 2008

Phebas: Great! After Kxh7 (or not): 22.Qxg6+ Kh8 23.Qh7++. 12. ...Nxe5 brought some troubles to the black player. Do you speak portuguese or spanish and would like to see some histories and games about chess? See my blog: http://heavenlychess@blogspot.com

   Oct-06-08 A Diamant vs C Goldwaser, 2007

Phebas: Good combat! After 41.Qd4+ the game is over. http://heavenlychess.blogspot.com

   Apr-09-08 M Bosboom vs Kosteniuk, 2000

Phebas: 27. ...Rg7? is a mistake. Rh6 was necessary, trying to defend a hard position for black.

   Apr-09-08 F Benko vs Keres, 1939 (replies)

Phebas: Francisco Benko is alive. He is from Argentina. Planq is right, he´s unrelated with Pal Benko. Some daya ago, he was playing in a tournament with 98 years old! Bravo, Benko!

   Jan-10-08 M Basman vs B Thipsay, 1991 (replies)

Phebas: You sit to play a game with the black pieces. Your challenger begins the game with "h3". What do you think? This game is mine! The concentration diminishes, and if you opponent play good moves, you´ll always think: "God, he is winning but he played "h3"! Hard to keep the focus.
