SaltiNeil: This was way easier than yesterday's.
   Jul-28-14 FSR chessforum (replies)
SaltiNeil: Hello FSR, I have noticed that your recent posts include the declaration of being first to either comment or solve the daily puzzle. The other big chess site,, also has a daily puzzle that allows people to post comments to the puzzle. The big difference between the ...

SaltiNeil: Am I missing something or are those who looked at 28...Qxg2+?? missing 29 Rxg2 with check to the black king, forcing the loss of the white rook on the next move?

Sep-29-07 Geller vs Portisch, 1967 (replies)
SaltiNeil: What a great combo! I was stuck on a solution centered around 20. Ng6 and never even considered Bg5, but at least I had the right file, do I get a half point for that?
Jul-20-07 D Keller vs Pomar Salamanca, 1968 (replies)
SaltiNeil: Can someone tell me why black plays 10...Nfd7 instead of Ngd7? I think that is where all the trouble started.
   Aug-07-06 J E Slade vs NN, 1960 (replies)
SaltiNeil: I haven't seen this NN guy win a game yet, he must be rated about 199 by now.
