Dec-20-14 Taimanov vs Petrosian, 1953 (replies)

Tigranny: A model game for how to play the Nimzo Indian as White.

   Nov-08-14 Fischer vs R Burger, 1964 (replies)

Tigranny: I prefer my burger medium rare but comical and interesting game to see the Burger eating the Fischer.

Nov-04-14 Ruy Lopez, Berlin Defense (C65) (replies)

Tigranny: Starting to like and use this opening more than my typical French, particularly in the Berlin Wall variation.

Oct-25-14 Karpov vs Korchnoi, 1978 (replies)

Tigranny: I was thinking something other than Spanish Class in it, but I appreciate your thought. :)

Oct-15-14 Carlsen vs Anand, 2013 (replies)

Tigranny: Why is the opening called the Forgotten Variation?

Sep-07-14 Botvinnik vs Capablanca, 1938 (replies)

Tigranny: NVM my previous comment. Very instructive game.

Sep-07-14 Van Wely vs Nunn, 1992

Tigranny: <WDenayer> Can you give me examples of how Black defends against the Bayonet successfully, without any mistakes on the White side? Sometimes I've found it interesting to try the classical lines with 9.Ne1 but never have in my own quick games.

   Sep-06-14 J Polgar vs Topalov, 2005 (replies)

Tigranny: Interesting how Judit demonstrates her skillful play against Kasparov in the Berlin Defense in 2002, but then gets beaten by Topalov in 2005 as White against the exact same opening. BTW, nice game by Veselin with the Berlin Wall.

   Aug-28-14 J Earnest vs C Hoover, 1947 (replies)

Tigranny: Very bad game on both sides. How about "Hoover Damned" as a pun?

   Aug-16-14 L Christiansen vs Karpov, 1993 (replies)

Tigranny: Is this the game in which Christiansen asked, "Would you like to go over and analyze the game?" Anyways atrocious blunder by Karpov that early in the opening.
