Just a quick note to you during the wee small hours of your morning (I've just had lunch - don't you love the global information economy). The summaries of the moves we've been workshopping will be posted at 1300 EDT (1800 GMT), hopefully within a few moments of each other to provide Team White participants with some comparisons of analysis so far. When White's move is officially made at 1400 EDT (1900 GMT), then we need to look at Black's possible replies. <RandomVisitor>'s Rybka analysis which is posted in his bio on his forum, says that there are 10 or more perfectly good moves for Black. I propose that we divide up the Black moves between the workshops. If you're agreeable to this, I'll post the resulting allocation on my bio and on the main page shortly afterwards. In other words, we should split the devil's advocacy between the various workshops until Black responds to our 12th move. So if you'd like to do this, and you're in a position to do so, please think about which moves you'd like to host and let me know on my forum after 1400 EDT when White's move is made. Could i also recommend that you temporarily amend your bio to reflect the present role of your forum as an analysis workshop. Thanks for the hard work you've put into this so far, and I look forward to you and rest of the team keeping up the great start we've made. I hope you enjoyed the Floriade link I provided.

Welcome back.
As you've probably seen, there's a healthy pool of forums that members have kindly volunteered for possible use as variation workshops. This builds up some leeway for our hardworking workshop owners, and on occasions eg when there's a simple recapture, there may be little or no reason to designate or workshop. However, there'll be an ongoing need for the Devil's Advocate workshop. <YouRang> has kindly made his site available for this purpose, and it has only just begun to be used. Could I ask if you're still willing to spend some time on this interesting approach? On another note, Black may move at 1400 EDT and we'll need to set up workshops: no more than two in the case of 13...Nxd3, but maybe three or four in case of 13...Bd7. 13...Qc7 and 13...Nh5 are considered outside possibilities, but there are some options ready if either of these moves is made. I hope you can get to the team meeting on my forum at 1400EDT. There won't be one of course, if Black doesn't move. |

On other days of the week i usually can tune in, look around, make a post or two and vote, but no serious analysis, i'm afraid.
But right now it's our turn, so i concentrate on our next move. Voted for Bg5, busy analyzing it, but not gaining much support until now.
Plan to post my results tomorrow around 5 pm american time where most of our teammates dwell i guess. |

Click on the "Kibitz" tab at the upper right corner of the page. At the very bottom of the page that brings up, you'll see a box labelled "Search Chessgames.com Kibitzing". Type your move in that box. For example, I simply typed in "Rae1". That brought up all recent posts including that move. Watch for which occur in TWVAN page and copy/paste them to your forum. I also try to make 100% clear who makes a specific statement, and who each responding post is addressed to. |
