Mar-15-11 Carlsen vs Nakamura, 2011 (replies)

ZIgurat: I assume that after the Wijk aan Zee knockout and this loss Nakamura now has full respect for Carlsen's attacking prowess. Having said that I expect he will be far more wary in the future and raise his wining chances considerably.

Jan-03-11 Morozevich vs Onischuk, 2011 (replies)

ZIgurat: Moro is out of form. He has blown huge advantages against Short and Onischuk. Now he will have to play himself back to form or else continue to slide down the rating scale.

   Jan-29-10 Corus Group A (2010) (replies)

ZIgurat: What a blunder by So. In a winning position he allowed a mate in two. Giri was So lucky.

Jan-12-10 World Team Championship (2010) (replies)

ZIgurat: Naka is objectively lost, but there might be a trick or two.

Dec-06-07 World Chess Cup (2007) (replies)

ZIgurat: This ZIgurat is gone for good, not wishing to interfere with the first Ziggurat.

ZIgurat: This game is as whacky as it is awesome. Sacrificing the d pawn in order to scoot the king over to e1 is outrageous. However, black´s king is stuck in the center. Kozul survives the onslaught to reach an inferior endgame and then falters with Rd5??, but Mamedyarov once again proves ...

   Nov-24-07 Rublevsky vs I Hera, 2007 (replies)

ZIgurat: Of course, 19. Dd7!! is brilliant and the encore 24. Bb5! rounds it up nicely.

   Nov-24-07 E Inarkiev vs F Peralta, 2007 (replies)

ZIgurat: So real or surreal? Did Peralta play 99. ...Be6?? and allow stalemate?
