agany: Superb treatment of the postion by Petrosian. His skillful manouvering is, as usual, remarkable. 8...,Na5 is a common move in this postion by Petrosian, taking control of the b3 square.

agany: <Shadow 812> Petrosian defeated Geller 3 times. Not a big diference, I konow, but three is the number.
Sep-01-07 Petrosian vs Geller, 1954 (replies)
agany: Grandmaster techinque at is best! The pawn manouvering is superb. Probably only Petrosian would have handled this position so well.
Aug-31-07 Kasparov vs Petrosian, 1981 (replies)
agany: 35...,Kc6!! is simply stunning. In Kasparov's 3rd volume of "My Great Predecessors", this move is highly regard by Garry. He says that, somehow, he is thankful to Petrosian because he made him see the infinite defensive resources of chess. Indeed, Petrosian at his best.
