Hi! I am a fan of this game, though I am at best a very average player. Unfortunately, I did not have proper exposure to this game when i was a kid, except for playing at home!!!

My favourite chess players are of course

Anand, with whom I share my name [just a coincidence]

and

Kasparov [arguably the greatest player of all time, but then it's not fair to compare across generations].

Of the upcoming lot, I like Radja and Aronian. I like "nice people" and hence my preferences. Of course, one could always argue that "nice" and "Kasparov" aint exactly synonymous, but well, I will make an exception here :-)
