Hello all , CG is indeed one of the coolest chess sites . I am casual chess fan from India though I dont deny being obsessed by chess at times ! I used to play actively under the handle RahulDravid in Fics but now am trying to play less and watch more super GM games ... will try to get back to chess when I have more leisure time !

anandrulez: Ng5 will seal the deal I think. If the Knight moves, it is mate in 1. If black tries to get some space with Rf8 to Re8 (to avoid potential Qh7#), e5xNf6 will force Queen sac owing to Qg7# threat. If Bxf1, e5xNf6 will create two threats: Qg7# and Qh7# -- both can't be defended. I ...

anandrulez: <Vermit>, This looks promising for black: 28. Kf3 Nxg5 29. Qxg5 (forced) Nxf8. Now, 30. Qh6 loses to Qf3+ forcing queen trade. 30. Qh4 Qf3+ 30. Kg2 Qe2+ 31. Kf1/Kg1 loses to Kg7! 30. Qxe5 is the only good move which is atleast a piece up.

anandrulez: "I mean I’m not that happy, of course, but this should’ve happened at some point in this tournament. You can lose at any moment so psychologically I don’t have any special thoughts about it. I’m just playing game after game, as I have started this way and I’m still ...
