andynmac: I guess she didn't see 35. ... Qe7. And Carlsen's finish here is very neat. I only looked at this game because I always play 3. ... Nc6 in the Alapin and was heartened to see Carlsen do the same. That is where the similarities end, however... Twice his age, about half his elo.

andynmac: "Basically" trapped? 20. ... Qc8 / Qc6 leads to a family fork by one then the other Knight on e7, and everywhere else the Q can be captured except for a5. But 21. ... Qa5 22. Bb6 Qd2 seems to get the Q out of immediate trouble?
