banjo: i can't believe it but i trapped myself ;-) in the line played i thought i would go 26. Ng4? Qh5?? 27.Nf6 but after 26. - Qe6 27.K:h3 h5! i blundered my own horse . that's why i'm a patzer !

banjo: i do not post often , because my english is too bad . but here i have (maybe) a little bit to say . the puzzle was nice and easy . and it says that 52.Qe3 was very bad . 52.Kc2 looks better (no engin). but interesting for us seems to be :why? capablanca once said :

banjo: after 24.Kg1 B:g2 25.K:g2 B:c3 and black wins another pawn and has still threats galore

banjo: after 84.f6 84.- Rc1 should easyly draw in a rookending f+h pawns can't win

Feb-15-08 Pavasovic vs Hector, 2003 (replies)

banjo: what went wrong for black in this ending ? i think or even better i guess it was the answer to whites 67.c4 (the only try , because white needs the c3 square for his king ) 67.- bxc4 is much too ambitious , and because of white is better there is no reason for that . so ...

banjo: i don't know , but maybe black thought : i'm deadly lost , so give the winner the beauty . 24.Qxf6 would be a nice monday-puzzle , let's say in a year or two .

   Sep-20-07 J Emms vs Tukmakov, 1996 (replies)

banjo: i saw the played line but i decided at last for a "better?" solution: 24.Ne4 Nd7 25.Nf6+ Nf6 26.Qf6 and now i thought black can't do anything against d7 and Be5 or if d7 is blocked Ba5-c3 what am i missing ?

   Jun-04-07 M Skalicka vs F Havlicek, 1913 (replies)

banjo: well , it's monday . but i think i see an erlyer winner : 19.Rxg6 hxg6 20.Ng5 followed by Qh3-h7 and black goes mate .
