Apr-27-23 Nepomniachtchi vs Ding Liren, 2023 (replies)

dannymay: So... Ding made a speculative exchange sacrifice (with Black) that didn't accomplish all that much; then he built a fortress and pretty much forced a draw... leading into Game 14 in which he plays White. It's still only half a point, but I think it counts for a little more than ...

dannymay: WOW! A couple of hours ago the dancing rook was warming up... now, with more of the same blunders, it could go either way.

Dec-08-21 Carlsen vs Nepomniachtchi, 2021 (replies)

dannymay: Having all but secured his title defense, Magnus probably wants to go home ASAP. I think he will certainly play hard for a win here, stopping just short of risky attacks. Nepo, on the other hand, must risk another loss in order to fight for a desperately-needed victory.
