Nov-26-18 Caruana vs Carlsen, 2018 (replies)
dannymay: I'm in favor of a tie-breaker of a 3-game mini-match playing Fischerandom, drawing for color each game. I don't anticipate widespread agreement here, but the primary advantage would be that the players have probably run out of their home prep by the end of regulation.
Mar-31-18 Caruana vs Carlsen, 2018 (replies)
dannymay: Perhaps this sends an important message to GM Carlsen-- you cannot rely upon your legendary endgame superiority this November.
Mar-23-18 Ding Liren vs Grischuk, 2018 (replies)
dannymay: It was a struggle, but it looks like Liren will manage to wrench out yet another draw, this time from a position that had "1-0" written all over it.
Mar-23-16 Caruana vs Anand, 2016 (replies)
dannymay: What is the consensus move limit for a "miniature?"
Feb-29-16 Spassky vs Bronstein, 1960 (replies)
dannymay: Sally Simpson Are you sure about that SPECTRE vs. SMERSH point? I was pretty sure Kronsteen was a SMERSH operative. SMERSH was the Soviet revenge machine that went after defectors, etc. SPECTRE was an international criminal cartel, apolitical and operating purely for profit.
   Jan-08-14 J Mieses vs J Finn, 1903 (replies)
dannymay: I love the Danish and the KGA… wish we saw more of them in games that count.
May-28-13 Ponomariov vs Ivanchuk, 2013 (replies)
dannymay: Has this ever happened before? 1-0 or 0-1 with zero loss of material?
Feb-10-13 K Van Leens Dijkstra vs J Penrose, 1983 (replies)
dannymay: After 38...Qd5, what's the coup de grace?
Aug-31-12 Showalter vs Pillsbury, 1894 (replies)
dannymay: What's wrong w/ 32. Rxb6?
   Apr-02-11 Ivanchuk vs V Erdos, 2011 (replies)
dannymay: Is this an all-time record? After move 29, either side has ceded only a single pawn.
