Feb-28-21 Capablanca vs Alekhine, 1927 (replies)
derfderf: This game is fantastic! Why isn't this ever GOTD?
Jul-17-15 Wei Yi vs Bruzon Batista, 2015 (replies)
derfderf: Be1 is easy to see at the end. But it was difficult to see when Wei played rxf7. I think what's amazing about Be1 is that Wei foresaw this that many moves ago and all the pieces seemed to fit perfectly like a jigsaw at the end
Jun-19-15 Anand vs Carlsen, 2015 (replies)
derfderf: What's wrong with 43 ... Rh6?
Jul-31-13 Topalov vs Kasparov, 1998 (replies)
derfderf: 42 ... Rff2 43. Ne3 and black is still in trouble If 43 ... Rfe2 44 c7 would win. I guess Kasparov is hoping white would blunder with 43. c7 Bxe4! 44. c8=q rxg2+ and black will have perpetual
   Aug-24-10 V Lepikhin vs Alekseev, 1959 (replies)
derfderf: what if black plays Qe3+? Kf1 Qf3 Kg1 Qg3 etc.
May-25-10 Kramnik vs Kamsky, 1994 (replies)
derfderf: Why doesn't White take Qxg1 at move 38?
