   Nov-30-14 Petrosian vs Furman, 1957
epicchess: Petrosian missed 42. Nc5! after which upon brief examination the position looks roughly equal
Sep-28-14 Navara vs Korchnoi, 2008 (replies)
epicchess: This need to be potd on a thursday or friday: M G Isakov vs S Ramanujam, 2014 Some of the ones on those days are below standard. However, the saturday sunday ones are very interesting indeed! Took me a while to get this one.
Aug-21-14 Bacrot vs Karpov, 2013 (replies)
epicchess: This is some kind of mistake, black is winning here.
   Jun-11-14 A Rinberg vs I Bitensky, 2004
epicchess: I'm pretty sure Rxg6 loses, because of 35..Rxg6 36. Bc1 f5! . I'm pretty sure this is an error in the typing up of the game, since Rxh6 won for two moves before Qe7, for example 32. Rxh6! gxh6 33. Qxh6+ Kg8 34.Qg6+ Kg8 35. ...
   Jun-02-14 Adams vs Naiditsch, 2013
epicchess: Ok, that was an error on my part, I was looking at the position before Re2. However, after Kxh3, Rxe3 can prove to be annoying since the king is cut off from the pawn. Everyone makes mistakes, you don't need to start a riot over an overlook.

epicchess: Conrad93, you seem to not understand what chess is really about. The name is in fact the only thing about this game that is not good, and the game is better than most GOTD's. Just because it was played by a 2000 doesn't matter, since anyone can learn from this game.
   May-26-14 L Gutman vs T Taylor, 1984 (replies)
epicchess: 17. Nxf5!! should be a problem of the day for thursday or friday in this game: M G Isakov vs Srinivasan Ramanujam, 2014
May-17-14 Ding Liren vs Aronian, 2013 (replies)
epicchess: 33..Nf3! seems to bring some life into this game, Aronian should have thought a while longer when he realized that all blacks pieces were stuck on the other side of the board!
May-16-14 Gelfand vs Anand, 2012 (replies)
epicchess: This is a deadly opening, check out this game: M G Isakov vs Srinivasan Ramanujam, 2014
