   Jun-27-11 Lasker vs J F Barry, 1904 (replies)

gogulko: Lasker had white in this game. Game score needs correction.

   Dec-20-10 Emanuel Lasker (replies)

gogulko: When he lost to Torre, Lasker did not use the arrival of the telegram (not given to him by his wife, but a tournament official) as an excuse. I can't find his exact words at the moment, but at the time and later he complimented Torre's play.

Dec-28-09 Bird vs Lasker, 1892 (replies)

gogulko: Lasker was born in 1868, not 1869. On December 24. Same day as Richard Teichmann

   Jul-04-09 Viktor Korchnoi (replies)

gogulko: Jul-23-08 cannibal: <keypusher> wrote: Actually, when you leave out his comeback in the mid-30s (which was still impressive enough, but had mainly financial reasons) and maybe some events in his very early career, the ONLY serious competitions he didn't win were Hastings ...

gogulko: 31. ,,, Nxe4 32. Qxg4 Nxc3 threatening 33. ... Bxd4+ and 34. ... Nxc5 might also work.

   Jun-13-08 D Ippolito vs Gulko, 2008

gogulko: Is this all time wins in U.S. Championships? Or some other list? Who are the top 10?
