   Nov-14-06 S Homa vs E Formanek, 2006 (replies)

guidomiguel: I can only hope there was a better move for black than 27... Qxe5, I know his position is not comfortable, but giving up the exchange certainly didnt work out.

Aug-27-06 Korchnoi vs Spassky, 1948 (replies)

guidomiguel: so black does lose a piece right? The knight is overworked.

   Aug-12-06 A Holland vs C W Warburton, 1949 (replies)

guidomiguel: is it just me or does 19. ...Qxg3+ 20. Kh1, Qh3+ 21. Kg1 and now Ne3+ fail to mate because Q takes rook with check, king takes rook and pawn or bishop takes knight. I cant find the forced mate in the first few moves:(

   Jul-20-06 Alekhine vs R McBride, 1932 (replies)

guidomiguel: i would like to know when alekhine was not drunk hahaha

   Jun-22-06 A Dueckstein vs Petrosian, 1962 (replies)

guidomiguel: sexy chess huh? Is that like chess while losing clothing hehehe But seriously, Petrosian's games have some real quality to them, but I think they should be studied after a few other gm's like morphy and the like.

Jun-01-06 Fischer vs Larry Evans, 1963 (replies)

guidomiguel: <madlydeeply> black could not leave his rook on g5, the white knight would move and take a pawn with a discovered attack on the rook and the knight attacks the queen, if knight takes knight, bishop takes rook pinning the queen to the rook... rg8 might of been the last move

Jun-01-06 Charousek vs Lasker, 1896 (replies)

guidomiguel: there is no endgame lol, its a knockout down a knight for a pawn...

   May-22-06 Marshall vs G Marco, 1900 (replies)

guidomiguel: Whats with all the talk about the queen when there is mate, i dont quite understand all the other <winning lines> talk. Mate in 3 or 4, thats all.

Feb-16-06 Tylor vs Sultan Khan, 1933 (replies)

guidomiguel: I actually decided to play the rook checks to get the king far enough away from the black passed pawns. I figured it would also win but then saw the bishop fork on the rook after Rxe5, lucky break I guess

   Feb-12-06 Tarrasch vs Ph Gutmann / Hahn / Kuerschner / R, 1895 (replies)

guidomiguel: Alot of ppl say they got it, I got the first 5 moves for white. But who would really play this OTB? God knows i couldnt hehe
