handle: What about... Qb6+ Ka8 and then Ka6? I don't see a clear draw there...

   May-22-08 A Dadian vs Kolisch, 1867 (replies)

handle: This one was beyond me. I wanted to play Bxf7. Still can't see what's wrong with that, actually.

   May-19-08 Lagno vs N Malmdin, 2007 (replies)

handle: Yeah, pretty easy indeed. White can get up two pieces; 27 Qxh5 gxh5 28 Nxe6+ Kh8 (or anywhere out of check) 29 Nxc7 forks the Rook and now undefended Bishop. So, you come out up a Knight and a Bishop, if I'm not mistaken.

handle: Huh... what about 25...Rd2 26 Qe3? I haven't been able to see any way around that.

Apr-26-08 Letelier vs Fischer, 1960 (replies)

handle: <<Fischer ducked Karpov in 1975 AND in 1992...Greatness knows itself!>...and its limitations.> Well, we have no idea how a theoretical Fischer-Karpov match would've gone. They never played. Everyone says he was afraid, but if you ask me, he was just off his rocker even at
