   Sep-18-18 Mamedyarov vs Aronian, 2018

jamesmaskell: This line with the early c5 push by white has been an equalising line for a good while now.

   Sep-10-17 World Cup (2017) (replies)

jamesmaskell: <Sally Simpson> No take-backsies!

   Sep-06-17 Yaroslav Zherebukh (replies)

jamesmaskell: Zherebukh may have forfeited the World Cup first round match but he is at the Fall Chess Classic B Group starting today.

Mar-28-16 Karjakin vs Caruana, 2016 (replies)

jamesmaskell: chess24 engine going nuts over Rxd5 for White

Mar-27-16 Caruana vs Svidler, 2016 (replies)

jamesmaskell: For those not watching the live video, Caruana and Svidler are still at the board and have set up a previous position from the middlegame!

Mar-27-16 World Championship Candidates (2016) (replies)

jamesmaskell: <chesslearner1991> As good as Carlsen might be, I don't think he's going to win this tournament ;)

Mar-25-16 Caruana vs Aronian, 2016 (replies)

jamesmaskell: Official video showing 31:28 to Karjakin and just under 26: to Topalov.

Mar-25-16 Nakamura vs Anand, 2016 (replies)

jamesmaskell: <lorker> Admittedly I did see a comp eval, but the position does look butt ugly for Black. Yes it has the h-pawn push but it is far too slow and needs the Rook to pretty much stand still. The QS Rook still isnt developed and the mate threats are clear. A comp eval of 5.13

Mar-23-16 Caruana vs Anand, 2016 (replies)

jamesmaskell: That knight tour is exactly the sort of thing I would do. Just go nuts chasing pawns, causing trouble. Wouldnt be close to correct chess but the plan would be disruption. Which rather explains why Im on the keyboard here while Anand is at the board...

Mar-19-16 Svidler vs Caruana, 2016 (replies)

jamesmaskell: Really hoping Svidler can do it. Black has great activity though.
