I am a French speaking Swiss. I now live in Melbourne where I am just about to get married. I teach French and History in a high school, love my job and love my chess. I have recently revived the chess club at the school where I work and my team has just been selected to play in the states finals in October. Even though I am a pretty poor player, I pass on to students my enthusiasm for the game and hopefully good sportsmanship around the board.

Apart from chess, I have been playing the guitar for nearly 20 years, piano for the last 2 years on my inlaws old, battered and out of tune piano, and tennis since I was 4.

My favourite chess players are: Fischer, Anand, Tal and my grand father. Favourite musician: Paul Simon
Favourite tennis players: Edberg, Wilander, Sempras and naturally Federer.

I do not yet barrack for an AFL (Australian football) team, to the great disappointment of my inlaws and my colleagues, but am open to suggestions.

I play chess on www.redhotpawn.com. Check it out, it is great!
