I live in Italy, played chess in youth, now I see it as part "Dell'arte della guerra". (and I mean Niccolo' Machiavelli, not those awful things!)

ossipossi: Black knight very very strong

   Nov-17-19 Szabo vs V Tukmakov, 1970 (replies)

ossipossi: I got it, but it was not a winning move!

   Nov-03-19 Chekhover vs A Y Model, 1932 (replies)

ossipossi: Not quote a wall of stone. The game is almost all played on the white squares

   Nov-01-19 F Berkes vs Sedlak, 2019 (replies)

ossipossi: Strange play by Black.

   Oct-27-19 D Blagojevic vs T Nyback, 2019

ossipossi: Yes, and I can't believe a 2500 Elo player castles in such a storm.

   Oct-27-19 V Erdos vs Vitiugov, 2019

ossipossi: Sometimes it happens at 11, sometimes at 132.

   Oct-27-19 A Giri vs D Anton Guijarro, 2019 (replies)

ossipossi: Why 21)...Qa6? Qb4 now is no more playable, pinning Re1. And let me say, cxd4 you have to play it the sooner you can. Otherwise White takes the edge.

Jun-14-19 Caruana vs Anand, 2019 (replies)

ossipossi: <@ An Englisman>: I am not that player, but please consider that <d4> is a thematic move in Giuoco piano. That means to be romantic.

Nov-29-18 Carlsen - Caruana World Championship Match (2018) (replies)

ossipossi: <That Roger> Well, that <how much> is a very complicated argument. But my reasoning stands, yet.

Nov-28-18 Carlsen vs Caruana, 2018 (replies)

ossipossi: I repeat my song: it is not that Magnus is not a nice guy (ok, an ice guy he is...), problem is that you need to put a handicap (time shortage) to have an unbalance. Otherwise if Chess is draw the place of the chessboard will be the drawer.
