Oct-28-18 Bogoljubov vs Alekhine, 1922 (replies)

princecharming: 47...Qe2!! Beautiful zugzwang.

   Aug-30-18 P Journoud vs Morphy, 1858

princecharming: It's as if White was trying to get mated at the end

Jun-23-18 Aronian vs Kramnik, 2018 (replies)

princecharming: 7...Rg8 reminds me of a game in a bullet match between John Bartholomew and Eric Hansen. John, playing as White, attempted to castle short, but mouse slipped and played Rg1 instead. As it turned out,John castled long and got a strong attack on the Kingside. His mouse slip ...

   Jun-20-18 H Knott vs F Perrin, 1857 (replies)

princecharming: I guess they had mouse slips even back in 1857

   Jun-12-18 J Owen vs Morphy, 1858 (replies)

princecharming: Try playing with extra Kings instead of Rooks!

May-17-18 AlphaZero vs Stockfish, 2017 (replies)

princecharming: I think 26.Qh1 is my favourite move of any game ever.

   May-11-18 J van de Mortel vs I Coene, 2001

   May-03-18 Caruana vs B Lengyel, 2005

princecharming: 46...Qf6?? was a huge blunder. 46...f6 and the game would've been even.

   Apr-27-18 S Brenjo vs D Bojovic, 2008 (replies)

princecharming: After 26...Rxb8 27.Rd7, I doubt Black could survive long.

   Apr-25-18 P Tregubov vs Efimenko, 2008 (replies)

princecharming: Damn, I had 33.Qf6 gxh5 34.Bh6 too. Unfortunately, it doesn't force mate. 34...Rxf2+ 35.Kxf2 Qb2 36.Nd2 is what I calculated, and the Queen has no good check. However, after 35...Qc5+, the Queen is getting onto that light-squared diagonal with check at some point, and then ...
