   Jun-24-14 A Demchenko vs N Looshnikov, 2014

screwdriver: I kind of like how the 2 rooks tied the queen down to protecting the bishop.

   Jun-24-14 C Li vs J Ontiveros, 2014

screwdriver: I like white's play, but Ontiveros didn't put up the best resistence.

Jun-24-14 Dufresne vs von der Lasa, 1850 (replies)

screwdriver: I don't think I'd ever get away with playing the bishop to a4.

   Jun-24-14 H Hohlfeld vs Rautenberg, 1947

screwdriver: Not sure who was winning part of the time, but white managed to get it done, lol.

Jul-26-13 Lasker vs Steinitz, 1894 (replies)

screwdriver: Lasker gets the queens off the board to work on Stienitz's weaknesses.

   Nov-10-12 F Lupi vs Alekhine, 1946 (replies)

screwdriver: I might be wrong, but after playing through the moves at the end 22.Bd1 Qd1 23.Bc3 e2 24. Ba4 Qb6+ 25.Qf2 e1=Q+ 26.Bxe1 Rxe1# So, it's understandable why Lupi resigned to Alehine since this looks relatively forced. Maybe someone can verify it with a chess engine. Thanks. Great ...

Aug-06-12 K van der Weide vs Ftacnik, 2006

screwdriver: Black better resign! He's down a freakin' piece!

Jul-19-12 Fischer vs Korchnoi, 1970 (replies)

screwdriver: Ah, a blitz game. I highly doubt we'd see the same result otherwise in 1970.

Jul-17-12 Karpov vs Korchnoi, 1974 (replies)

screwdriver: I like this game by Karpove. He figured out alot from Rd3, to sacking the pawn on g5, then playing Rd5 which really was the clincher.

Jul-11-12 Fischer vs Larsen, 1958 (replies)

screwdriver: Can someone validate the date and the exact quote where Fischer declared the dragon is no longer a viable option in the Sicilian for black?
