Sep-21-22 Anderssen vs Zukertort, 1868 (replies)
Aminda: 33. Kf1 does draw. 34 Kf1 not possible in this alternate universe.
   Aug-08-22 D Gukesh vs A Esipenko, 2022
Aminda: Good game from Esipenko against another wunderkind.
   Jul-14-22 FIDE Candidates (2022) (replies)
Aminda: Hi everyone Maybe there should be two kinds of world chess championships. 1. Classical chess - long form (40 moves/ 2 hours, and similar). 2. Shorter or alternate versions (rapids, blitz...). As a simple chess amateur, only the classical long form interests me. Just my opinion,
   May-30-22 Flohr vs Grob, 1933
Aminda: Oups. Just read the post of FSR in 2014. In any case, it seems that Flohr, who was in the 1930's and 40's a very strong GM, gave up a little early. It might have been a draw.
   May-27-22 K Rogoff vs A H Williams, 1969
Aminda: 94. bxc5…out of the blue. Fell off my chair.
May-27-22 Spassky vs Geller, 1959 (replies)
Aminda: Hi Spingo, Following on your analysis: If 77…Qc8, 78. Bxg7, simply get the g7 pawn.
May-22-22 Karpov vs Kasparov, 1988 (replies)
Aminda: VonKrolock quoting the 2004 babblefish translation of a russian article is quite interesting as evidence of how much translation software (such as Google translate) have improved in about 20 years. It is also quite funny to read (Caspar...).
   May-21-22 Smyslov vs Ivanchuk, 1994
Aminda: Smyslov was in his seventies here (born in 1921). Not bad!
   May-21-22 R Praggnanandhaa vs Carlsen, 2022 (replies)
Aminda: 40…Nd3 seems better.
   May-18-22 Suttles vs Polugaevsky, 1969
Aminda: A few white moves all seem better than 37. Ne7, especially 37. Nxh6.
