Dec-06-22  stone free or die: Curious to find out what <Cake 1.85> software was, which I encountered in the credits to <jnpope>'s recent two volume Pillsbury release - I discovered it was a checkers engine written by a chess player - Martin Fierz. (<CG> should upload this PD photo)
