International Master (2011), Grandmaster (2013).

Winner of the 2011 Moscow Open. Belous became an IM in the same year after winning three IM norms at the Aeroflot Open 2010 A2, the World U18 Championship 2010 and at the Aeroflot Open 2011 B. In May 2012, he came =1st (2nd on tiebreak) alongside Vladislav Artemiev at the World's Youth Stars (2012). In May 2016, he won the Chicago Open ahead of 20 other grandmasters.
