  perfidious: <Zzyw> All this has been played in numerous games I found elsewhere, including the variation you give with 8.Bc1, between players of less than international standard, though a small percentage resigned as Black did above.

The tournament book of the 1974 Olympiad at Nice gives an example of this, in which Black also resigned after 6.Qd5, from one of the lower groups.
