Aug-07-05		sneaky pete: Staunton published this game with a different finish: 59.Rh3+ Kg6 60.Rg3+ Kf7 61.Kxf5 Nf3 1/2-1/2. Loewenthal was consulting with one H.G.Cattley (Boden, who also submits the date February 21, 1857) or with ? (Staunton). Relations between Staunton and his former protege Loewenthal were rather strained in this period, which may account for the mutual bad play.
