Kibitzer's Corner
Dec-05-05  KingG: White gets a big advantage out of the opening, but went wrong somewhere around the 30th move. Maybe time trouble was a factor.

31.Bd5? was a mistake, had White seen Black's reply, he would have played 31.b3, Qf1 or Rc3 with an edge for White.

31...b5! Black is threatening 32...Bb6.

White then plays a few inaccurate moves, but nothing losing, before making the decisive mistake 37.Kg2?. 37.Bxf8 leads to a draw, with 37...Qxf8 38.bxc3 Ng4+ 39.Kh3(39.Kh1 is dangerous because of 39...Re8!) 40.Kh2 perpetual.

Dec-05-05  syracrophy: the vienna gambit, cunningham variation is extremely risky to whiter, and I think its better for black
Dec-05-05  KingG: I disagree, the Cunnigham variation of the KGA, with ...Bh4+ is thought to be dubious for Black, and this is a transposition into it.

As i said, White does very well out of the opening, but makes some mistakes later on.

  louispaulsen88888888: I think 31 Bd5 is fine
34 h5 is weak after which it is equal until 37 Kg2
