Kibitzer's Corner
Jan-12-07  waddayaplay: Wonder if this is one of "the best, most instructive, chess games. At least one of the players should be master-strength (2200 Elo) or better."
Jul-10-08  MaltaCross: <waddayaplay> Definitely not one of "the best, most instructive, chess games"! White should have turned the tables with this line: 4.Bb5+ Bd7 5.Bxd7+ Qxd7 6.Nxd5, winning a center pawn!
Jul-10-08  MaltaCross: <waddayaplay> Or better still the more straightforward move 4.Nxd5!

FSR: I wonder if Black actually played 1...c6. The game would make a little more sense that way. It would be a normal opening - well, up to 6.Na4?! anyway - and White couldn't have just won a pawn with 4.Nxd5. I can't say with any certainty, but this is possible.

FSR: Amazingly, this is the only game in the database played by either of these titans.
