Oct-21-04  flipper.89: Eugene Torre, our dearest no.1 grandmaster, try your best!!!from Felipe Adlawan of Bislig City.
Jan-23-05  suenteus po 147: This is some nice endgame maneuvering by Torre. Black is now forced to exchange his queen in the final position or be mated pretty quickly. I'm curious, though, what is the advantage White has to play against Black after the exchange of queens? (aside from the extra pawn, that is)

Feb-18-09  KERESOV: GM Eugene Torre tortured his illustrous rival in the opening stage like a boa constrictor squeezing the life out of GM Baburin but Alex did fought back in dramatic fashion at the middlegame stage and even have a winning continuation which he sadly missed 31... Nxd3! instead of the defensive 31... Rg8 which results in a lifeless black position that is untenable by move 34 onward. Full credit to GM Torre for his unrelentless threats and effortless technique ...
Oct-04-15  kamagong24: nice game!
Aug-29-16  Virgil A: Tough game GM Torre prevailed.
