Jul-06-06  MrMelad: Kamsky doesn't make obvious moves in this game, almost every move surprised me.

keypusher: Really? I had no trouble guessing his moves -- the first seven, anyway. :-) Seems like a really fine ending!
Jul-07-06  horseyattack101: Seems like Lenderman could have at least drawn this game. 28. ... Kg7 seemed a little unnecessary. He should have used his last couple of moves attacking the passed pawn, forcing white to constantly play defence.
Jul-07-06  Naja: beautiful
Jul-14-06  patzer2: The positional exchange sacrifice 23. Bxd7! leads to an instructive endgame, where White is clearly better.

Perhaps Black could have put up more resistance with 26...Rb7, but even there it may not be possible to avoid the decisive invasion of the White monarch.

Open Defence: ends up with 3 passed pawns!! cool
May-19-07  I3illieJoe: 28...Kg7 ? That move cost Lenderman the game
Sep-07-07  beenthere240: <I3illieJoe> okay. what's better than 28...Kg7? Black has no moves. 28....Ra7 stops c7 for the time being, but the white king still invades.
