Apr-05-08  notyetagm: Wang Hao is now 2/2 with White in the Open Sicilian at the Russian Team Championship.

He must be very close to 2700 now.

Apr-05-08  notyetagm: Another beautiful White Sicilian game from Wang Hao.
Apr-05-08  jonnymalk: wow what a finish!
Apr-05-08  JuliusCaesar: Great game. The way way Wang Hao conducted the game, patiently and deliberately, reminded me of the young Karpov.

No, it reminds me of Hannibal crossing the Alps! :-))

Yes, a -stupendous- game by Wang Hao.

I think he has the potential to become a -strong- 2700 player (2750s). He is only like 18 years old!

Apr-11-08  JuliusCaesar: Wang Hao is a dark horse. Of all the young Chinese players, I think he will go the furthest. He has a very patient and methodical approach to the game.
