Jun-23-09  vonKrolock: The winner comments two of her recent victories - this and N Zdebskaja vs A Shneider, 2009 from Capelle-la-Grande - in Russian, <<ВО СЛАВУ ДОНА МИГЕЛЯ> ="To the Glory of Don Miguel"> (Najdorf) but with animated boards for both score and analysis and some captions http://www.chesspro.ru/_events/2009...
Jun-23-09  Gilmoy: A thematic sprint duel. <14.f4 a5> looks better for Black, since White's <15.f5> never has a real target -- hence Black can essentially ignore the f-pawn for 3 tempi. <18..Ra5 19.Kb1> is a critical point -- <19..d5!> offers two pawns for tempi, as Black relies on her good piece flow to simply replace her sacs faster than White can capture them all! <She who sacs first, wins> -- especially in a sprint race!

<22.Qxb4> backfires, as Black is much happier with Rb8 pressure on b3 than having the b4-pawn. <20.Nc1> looks better than dragging another Black piece forward for free. Maybe h4-Rh2 to defend a2, and Bh3 to defend f5.

Jun-30-09  vonKrolock: Maybe Sigeman&Co could consider send an invitation for some prromising RRRussian player to the next double RR in Malmö http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dBm1...
Aug-09-09  whiteshark: Why did white resign? Where's the win after <32.Rb1>?
Aug-09-09  whiteshark: ok, it's <32...Qd4+>; Monday level
