Kibitzer's Corner
Aug-10-10  Eisenheim: Black looks chaotic with a whirlwind defense and I think 24 ...Qxa3 would have been the logical continuation to prolong the game and make white play defense. the text softens the blow of the bishop sacrifice, allows white to regroup and advance
Aug-11-10  Dr. Funkenstein: Eisenheim: Black must have considered that as it seems the obvious continuation. Perhaps he rejected because of Qb2 which gains a tempo as black needs to retreat the queen and then Rc1 challenges the c file.
Aug-11-10  Eisenheim: <Dr. Funkenstein:> - Thank you for your thoughts. I worked out that line a bit when posting yesterday and played it through with all rooks off the board. I guess if black had no obvious advanatage conintuation with the sac, it was ill advised
Aug-11-10  NARC: 22 ... Na4 looks better to me

HeMateMe: This seems odd. I guess black just miscalculated how the middlegame would play out.
Aug-13-10  whiteshark: I can't imagine the idea behind <22...Nb7>.
