Kibitzer's Corner
Nov-28-10  tonsillolith: Nice pair of pins from White on moves 28 and 29.
Jan-16-11  cjgone: 1.a3!!!!??

Yaaay, why I still have faith in my boy, Magnus Carlsen. Pulling out the uncommon 1a3 2.c4 variation . :D

Mar-11-13  hms123: In this position:

Carlsen played <29.Rc1> when he had a nice trick available with

<29.Qf8+ Bg8 30. Qf6+ Bxf6 31. Bxf6++>

If <29.Qf8+ Ng8> instead, then <30. Qxc5> snags the rook

Mar-11-13  abuzic: <28.Qf4> not that nice: 28.Qf4 Ng1 and white has nothing;

<28.Nf4> would be a nice shot:

28.Nf4 Bc4 <28...Bg8 29.Nd3> 29.Rc1, now this would be a nice pin!

<29.Rc1> yes a nice pin, but 29...b5 is better for black than the actual 29...b6?;

29.Qf8+ is winning rightaway:
29.Qf8+ Ng8 <not 29...Bg8 30.Qxf6+ and mate next> 30.Qxc5 Bxb2 31.Qxc4.
