Kibitzer's Corner
Oct-19-11  Ulhumbrus: The final combination is a candidate for the textbooks. On 35...cxb6 36 Rxf7 draws Black's King on to the square f7 where the black king and the Rook on b8 can be forked by a N arriving on d6. On 36...Kxf7 37 Ne4-d6+ forks the black King and N.
Oct-21-11  Everett: I haven't seen such a methodical invasion of the 7th rank. The fianchettoed queen is also a nice touch. Complete crush after that.
Oct-21-11  bronkenstein: Black played very cautious and passive game in position which demanded energetic measures in the center , missing d5 for several moves , for example <12.d5! >, or even <11. d5!?> , and I would even slightly prefer black in that case.

Instead, he waited with unnecessary <h6?> , and the nail in the coffin was slow and strange Rb8+b6+Bb7 plan , with additional drawback that black LSB is exchanged - which in this case helped white penetrate the white holes on the Qflank rather than black attacking `weakened` white king...we saw nothing close to that anyway.

For one moment, I was wondering did Yasser maybe pay this guy for some rating points , since black`s level of play was so much below his actual rating (I know, hindsight blahblah...but thats how bad impression his strategy made ... =).

Dionysius1: Nice 7th rank play by Seirawan the pawn nibbler :-)
