ketchuplover: I think 14.Ne4 is better.
Jan-23-13  goldenbear: 24.Nd7! is very clever.
Jan-24-13  jovack: <ketchuplover> Ne4?? You're trading your dark bishop + knight for one rook that is getting replaced, with a minus tempo moving his knight closer..?

Overall I'm surprised at a draw as well. Typically a rating of 500 stronger means you are teaching a lesson in how to play or showing off with some flashy moves you wouldn't normally play, not battling for equality.

Oct-21-13  hedgeh0g: 9.dxc5 is hardly the most ambitious attempt for a player outclassing his opponent by more than 500 elo. 9.Nf3 would probably be most players' choice and White's best chance for advantage.

An IQP structure where Black has committed his pawn to h6 can only be favourable for White.
