An Englishman: Good Morning: Played the Catalan with great success as a second string weapon without ever understanding the opening. Watching someone like Girl who actually knows what to do becomes quietly amazing. 16.h3--what does that do? 21...Qa8--how did White persuade Black to do that? Just quietly amazing.
Apr-20-21  Ulhumbrus: On 21 Rd1 White's rook has entered the game with tempo while Black's rook has not yet come out.

In addition to this White's knight on e5 is ahead in development of Black's knight on a6.

White's queen is also ahead of Black's queen in development.

This suggests that White is at least three moves ahead in development.

This suggests that if White can make his lead in development count and if other things are equal Black is lost.

HeMateMe: It seemed like white just waited. He waited for black to make anti positional moves. then, white cashed in.
