This is already my end, because I missed that the Marshall Gambit is the pet opening of Mr. Quintero, that is a strong 1st category player> 9.exd5 e4!<New to me. Mr. Quintero's favorite variation> 10.bxc6 exf3 11.Qxf3 Bg4 12.Qe3??<Dang! The blunder of blunders! I'm already going straight down to hell. The theorical was 12.Qg3. Now it's all over for me...> 12...Re8! 13.d4?<Searching for a way to defend my rook with 14.Qd2 but I missed Black's 14th move> 13...Bd6 14.Qd2 Bf4!! <The thunderbolt that emerged from the wide blue sky! 15.Qxf4 Rxe1#> 15.Rxe8+?? <Throwing away my last chance of surviving. 15.Re3 loses the exchange but at least I have two pawns for it. Now it's all over...> 15...Qxe8 <Now, 16.Qd3 loses to 16...Qe1+ 17.Qf1 Bxh2+! wins the queen> 16.Bxf7+ <My last "trap", but obviously is too simple for a 1st category player> 16...Kxf7! <16...Qxf7? 17.Qxf4> Here I resigned. I will lose my queen or get mated. It's all over. A sad lost game. I really got shocked by that lost game. That was a full punch to my security. Now I know how weak I am. |

3.Everyone loses sometimes.Even Grischuk,the blitz world champ,lost his first game at playchess today! (then won 3 in a row):)

Espero que esta derrota no haga que su juego disminuya sino que por el contrario lo anime a buscar la victoria. También espero que ambos jugadores no busquen las tablas rápidamente en las cuatro partidas que restan sino que sigan luchando como lo vienen haciendo. Tengo el presentimiento de que Topalov abrirá con e4 para buscar una Ruy López "drawish" (como dicen aquí los compañeros). Me gustaría jugar una partida contigo, quizás en playchess. |
