Stonehenge: Perhaps http://geneall.net/en/name/1670332/.... A couple of his children were born in Indonesia, so it's quite possible.
Oct-17-14  sneaky pete: The author of "Das Schachsiel der Bataker, ein ethnographischer Beitrag zur Geschichte des Schachs", published in 1904 by Von Veit in Leipzig. The foreword of this booklet was written in "Bindjei, Ned. Indie, 6 März 1904".

The Bataks had a funny way of playing chess, but at least the game was played on 64 squares. Euwe would later play some games of Batak chess vs Si Toemboek.
