   Dec-21-22 J Stuart Robertson vs K Arkell, 2022

GIAaron: Indeed it would have, fispok. Different and faster after the simple winning reply 22...Rxg2!

   Dec-24-18 K Arkell vs Vachier-Lagrave, 2017

GIAaron: 39 Qc6! and maybe it's unclear?

   Dec-24-18 K Arkell vs P Petran, 2015

GIAaron: To this day I can't explain what happened to my thinking during the game. White is something like +3 after the opening.

   Dec-24-18 M Rodshtein vs K Arkell, 2015 (replies)

GIAaron: Tablebases say Black was always winning.

   Dec-24-18 K Arkell vs Sutovsky, 2013

GIAaron: 38 Qxb7 +-

   Dec-24-18 R Gao vs K Arkell, 2013 (replies)

GIAaron: I had Norovirus for the last 3 rounds of this tournament.

   Jan-22-18 Carlsen vs A Korobov, 2017 (replies)

GIAaron: The video footage from Isle of Man a few months earlier shows Magnus paying some attention to this round 6 game, which took place a few feet away from his own game during which he beat Pavel Eljanov: Arkell vs G Loew, 2017

   Jan-15-17 T Gharamian vs K Arkell, 2016 (replies)

GIAaron: Needs correcting. Result was 0-1

   May-26-15 Spassky vs R Byrne, 1974 (replies)

GIAaron: I could be wrong, but maybe 50...bc draws. I can't get White to win any of the lines which result from an eventual b6, followed by trading the h4 pawn for the f4 pawn. I could be missing something, of course. Does anyone know any way White can force a win there?

   Jan-13-15 K Arkell vs P Marusenko, 2014

GIAaron: I think it was always difficult for Black. Typical of the power of 2 Bishops!
