Nov-18-18 Areshchenko vs F Corrales Jimenez, 2009 (replies)
jith1207: I tried following line, thought it also led to mate. 31. Qxf7 Rg8 32. Nf5 Bxf5 33. Qxh5+ Bh6 34. Qf7+ Bg7 35. exf5 Qa3 36. Qg6+ Kh8 37. Qh5+ Bh6 38. Qxh6# But upon checking engines, it is clear that 32..Rxf5 and 33..Be8 only lead to White clinging on to a draw through repetition.

jith1207: <ndg2>: Did you look at the video? That laptop shot only had the list of match games (probably last WCC) between Carlsen and Karjakin, in addition to few others. Carlsen team is not going to learn what new moves or lines or sort of opening where the opponent might spring a ...

jith1207: From page six website on the start of World Chess Championship: Call it a rook-y error. Woody Harrelson caused a king-size mess on Friday when he performed the duties of the ceremonial starter at the first match of the World Chess Championship in London. Reuters reports that the ...
   Oct-31-18 Nimzowitsch vs Alapin, 1914
jith1207: <ChrisOwen>: I want to reply you, especially after you have chosen me to respond. I am just waiting for my stage to reach another few notches of insanity to comprehend and converse with you. I'm really sorry.
   Oct-31-18 V Gashimov vs J N Riff, 2008 (replies)
jith1207: It's like a Set puzzle position, and not a game! Surprising how every piece is in required position on both sides for the mate to work.

jith1207: Earth has gone another round around the Sun, but it's only me who still cares.

jith1207: I didn't know this was repeated recently, glad I was able to find the whole sequence. Not taking the Sac would have been better.

  jith1207: Hi <Penguin>,

I did not notice this forum and your first post. Thanks for that, it surely is an amazing experience having the membership and sure would help a lot. Fun times ahead! I'm sure this would make me pay from the next year to retain the features (though that might disqualify from Santa's draw). :D

Happy Holidays to you as well, though might be delayed wishes now as we are getting started with the New Year.

Happy New Year and have a good and memorable cherish-able one!

<Jan-14-16 jith1207: It puzzles me that in this day and age, we still do not have awards for the most trolled, worst humanbot, worst fanirmod, etc.,>

What were you thinking of?

Premium Chessgames Member
jith1207: <Offramp>: Ah yes, I believe I remember it as some sort of name-play I did on some trolls in this site. This post was probably a worthless one, made in the heat of a forum discussion involving lot of hijackers. I will read through the forum and see if I can recall actual plots behind that. ;-)

Penguincw: Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you, <jith1207>. Enjoy the Holiday season. :)
Jan-06-18  Gudrun: Hi <jith> I thought you were dutch, when I saw the pic! tulips!
Premium Chessgames Member
jith1207: <Gudrun> Hi, sorry never thought to check my forum, just seeing your message. Yes, I associate tulips with the Dutch, but I have no relation there. I believe our family had a portrait of the tulip fields from there in our living room, so I like that photo. Lol, however I have since changed but still stuck with flowers. I've got to dig deeper again some time for a better pic. Thanks for asking.

thegoodanarchist: I apologize if the argument between me and <CHC> offended you.

I regret that it happened on Daniel's page, but that is where <CHC> tried to have other members banned.

If you care, here is the explanation:

Daniel Freeman (kibitz #758)

If not, I understand.

Again, I wish it hadn't happened on Daniel's page, but I don't know what else to do to try to stop someone from getting a ban of another member

Premium Chessgames Member
  thegoodanarchist: Regarding your comment here:

Daniel Freeman (kibitz #1048)

I agree with much of what you said.

The thing is, I found some of <Big Pawn>'s comments about <sneaky sqeeky> to be rather objectionable. I didn't defend them. I didn't even like seeing them.

But I felt as though I had to defend his right to say them. They were not personal attacks on <ss>, just tactless is all.

I've been a member of this community for fifteen years. And I will be damned if I'm going to sit by and watch someone like <CHC> make a power play to ban people over some personal vendetta, without speaking up about it.

If I get suspended by <Sargon>, so be it. I will be back and still support the website

If I am banned, then that's life and I will survive.

My only regret is that the whole thing happened on Daniel's page. I didn't know what else to do, though.

Big Pawn: Buy <tiggler> a beer. And if he doesn’t drink, then buy him a plate of veal, spaghetti and fried eggplant. Also for blowing the whistle on the f bomb too.
Premium Chessgames Member
Big Pawn: <Jith1207>, you stood up for <CHC> when he expressed his phony outrage toward me because I had the <nerve> to question whether or not <ss> was really <Daniel's> mom.

You told <tga> in his forum that it was especially egregious of me to do so, since <Annie K> and others verified that account as legitimate.

Where is that verification?

In the meantime, please read the comment below. After you read this comment, tell me where I can find this verification.

<sneaky sqeeky: Someday I will find the family poems about Zanzibar...I hope. A catatonic found on the street corner. peed his pants. We named him Zanzibar. We took him in and cared for him. We lit a fag one day for him until it burned blisters on his fingers with no reaction....soon after he had a frenzy....a break out of sorts, and we had him committed, reluctantly. It took two men and a lamp pole across his throat to subdue his violence. There are stones that remain. Perhaps Demetrius knows.>

jith1207: <BP>: I support your questioning of her identity, but thought time and place wasn't right at that time to do so, especially as that might turn into a discussion away from thoughts on Daniel on his page, especially after Daniel's girl friend had to make a request on his forum about other discussions going on there. I didn't intend to stand up for <CHC> though, but I understand it may have come across due to my tone and harshness towards you. I stopped kibitzing on that topic once <CHC> turned that as personal attack, as he seems to have that ingrained in his mind.

My intention of my communication to the extent of argument with you was to take away that question from that page, and on to the persons who have come to known Daniel's mother in real life or via other communication channel. I was suggesting you check with Annie for that reason in her forum, as she is the only person who interacts here and knows people around Daniel's life.

To be honest, I couldn't get a clear understanding of many posts that <ss> has commented. I don't intend to read into them too much. I have learned not to question your intention or right to inquire, just the place didn't feel right. But, as <ss> seems to have understood the forum better, I don't feel it would hurt, if she's his real mother. I apologize to you if I had come across snarky towards you. I understand the good intention, as someone needed to ask anyway, considering the trolling possibilities of this site.

Seriously, I think we should ask Annie if the question is still not answered enough. But I choose to believe Annie. I honestly do not know how else you would be able to find. :-)

OhioChessFan: I have noticed <ss> has used some uhhh, very British slang. It could be nothing, but I'm just saying.
Premium Chessgames Member
jith1207: Yeah, someone pointed out the word Fag as well. We will get to see, I understand there is value in perusal of the poster.

jith1207: As a non native English speaker, I always have found in casual and in my client relationship, that i have found it easy to understand the Americans. The most difficulty I have experienced is with Scots or English, while it is extremely difficult to even follow Scottish accent and many of British accent for me.

I have come across few American accent that are difficult to follow, but every single time it had been just a matter of acclimating. I had the experience of working with one Manchester lady, whom I had difficulty to understand even after a year of working together. It was embarrassing.

jith1207: I have a theory, a suspicion since the revelation that user: <Sneaky> is none other than Daniel Freeman.

I saw another post where <Sneaky> says the user: <Sneaky Pete> is his alter ego, which I posted on Daniel's page or CG / KC, I guess. I think <Sneaky Pete> did a lot of translation work and seems to be familiar with another language, so people think it cannot be Daniel. I can see that, but what if Daniel is familiar with that language and his usual avatars didn't reveal that to public? And, he used this moniker to help the website in that regard. Daniel might have created different accounts for his different talent.

I came across this message from <Sneaky Pete> in Stalin page, where the user jokes about Daniel Freeman. If he's a normal user, would he bring in <DF> to joke about?

Stalin (kibitz #3)

<Sneaky Pete> has always been logging into this site every month, at least more than a handful of times each month this year. He has not logged in since July 12, it has been well more than a month now. I'm afraid we might have lost another long-term user. I hope not, I would be happy to show him this post when I see him messaging here. But I have a rather <Sneaky> feeling as to this user User: sneaky pete

Aug-20-18  JimNorCal: If the language is Spanish then since DF lived in Florida there's no surprise he knows the language. Any other language ... yes, you'd need more evidence such as his mother's knowledge.
Premium Chessgames Member
jith1207: Well, <Tiggler>, I did. But I didn't as much as you did, so you don't have to be so jealous of me.
Premium Chessgames Member
Tiggler: I only lectured about things that others wanted to hear. And not recently at all, whether they wanted to hear it or not.
Premium Chessgames Member
jith1207: <Tiggler>: I agree, I did get into few notches above my usual composure. Thanks for the reminder, I will remember not to.

jith1207: From page six website on the start of World Chess Championship:

Call it a rook-y error.

Woody Harrelson caused a king-size mess on Friday when he performed the duties of the ceremonial starter at the first match of the World Chess Championship in London.

Reuters reports that the “True Detective” star caused a royal mishap when challenger Fabiano Caruana asked Harrelson to move his opening pawn, but Harrelson moved the wrong piece — and accidentally knocked over the king, a move that usually signals forfeiture of the match.

Apparently Caruana “initially appeared to accept the mistake before officials allowed the pawn to be replaced.”

What a knight-mare.

Premium Chessgames Member
  moronovich: That was quite funny.
Woody never appeared as the most yellow banana in the jungle at Sams Bar. Which he seemed to confirm yesterday.
