Chnebelgrind: It seems that chessbookie is not around. Games in women's WC start at 15:00 local time as everyday. That is 0.8 hour from now. betting closes in 1.8 hours from now, means 1 hour after the games have begun. As far as I know bookies practice this is not intended. I guess that all bets, that are made after the games had started, will be refounded later ...

WannaBe: Log in to the Bookie game, he just asked me, "Would you like to discard <ALL> losing tickets? Bwahahahahahah."
Dec-14-10  SloVice: Apparently I'm not allowed to win a bet this leg. I'll tell you what I think is happening: The players somehow see what my bet is, then adjust their play accordingly. It's the only plausible explanation for my continued losing streak.
Dec-14-10  wordfunph: to <all last-minute bettors>

betting closes early in the last round, good luck to all..

Dec-14-10  technical draw: Ha, ha, the loanshark was dumb enough to give me another 500 cbs. I'm betting it all on tomorrows pick 3. It's now or never!
Dec-15-10  Boratco: Sir, Boss, Chessgames Bookie, when will the tournamant end for this leg? I'd like to bet all my cb$ before it ends.
Dec-17-10  wordfunph: Hou wins and so with my $516 bet.. :)

Chnebelgrind: Thanks for the congratulations, but the ranking given by <chessbookie> can not be the final score. My final net worth is 19326. It seems that the bettings for Women's World Championship Finals and for Women's World Championship Winner are not yet rated.
Dec-25-10  Boratco: Chessbookie gave me a nice Christmas present. A whooping 900 chess bucks. Thanks.

Chnebelgrind: Now, when things are clarified I am set to accept the congrats. I think there are two events which are crucial for this access. The first happend Oct-22-10, when I was deep in the cellar and got a payout of 3222 for 12 c$ I had set on a pick3. The other was the thing <4tmac> has mentioned. I had a lot of money on Ruan Lufej and I only had a chance to win the leg, when Ruan would win this game. So I have set 10k on her victory in the last classical game against Hou. I would have been deep in the cellar again, if she hadn't won, what was highly expected. And the impossible happened. So, though I was calculating a lot of odds the hole leg in the end it were the flukes which were necessary for my result. Finally I was astonished myself, that I could win although Ruan did not become WC. I had all my bets on her. If she would have won the finals I would have finished just above 40000.

Chessgames Bookie: <SwitchingQuylthulg> Seems like I jumped the gun on my post before the final calculations computed. Thanks for the corrections and congratulations on another outstanding performance.
Dec-26-10  technical draw: That wasn't the REAL Bookie that wrote that last post. The real bookie wouldn't say, "Oh, I jumped the gun.." The REAL bookie would GET a gun and say:

"Hey, switch! So we made a mistake? You ain't gonna make a big deal out of it, right? My advice to you is to take the money and go pound sand, capice?"

Signed, sour grapes TD....

Penguincw: The fall leg is over! QUESTION: How did I get 999 chessbucks when I never even bet on anything !!
Dec-27-10  NakoSonorense: You must have taken out a $100 loan for a day.. There's a $1 interest rate per day charged for every $100 you owe.
