Prelim results at 32-ply. Keep in mind that Stockfish inflates evals. Only ran top two as none of the others made sense nor scored well at low ply.

1. 32 [+1.73] <27.Ng2> Rg8 28.Rf1+ Ke8 29.h4 c5 30.Nf4 cxd4 31.cxd4 Nf8 32.hxg5 Rxg5 33.Rxg5 Bxg5 34.Nxd5 exd5 35.Bxg5 Ne6 36.Be3 Rc8 37.Rf6 Ke7 38.Rh6 Rg8 39.Kh2 Rg4 40.Rh7+ Rg7 41.Rxg7+ Nxg7 42.b4

2. 32 [+1.77] <27.Nc2> Rh8 28.Kh2 c5 29.Bxg5

I will let it continue to run unless you advise me otherwise. Note the evaluations are rising. One kingside plan and one queenside plan for the WN. The queenside plan with 27.Nc2 has not been stable and Stockfish has trouble working out a line of any length.

Here is your line after 35 ply...little resolution although now Nc2 is scoring slightly higher.

1. 35 [+1.97] 27.Nc2 c5 28.Bxg5 cxd4 29.Bh6 Nxe5 30.Rf4+ Bf6 31.Bxf8 Rxf8 32.cxd4 Ng6 33.Rf2 Ne7 34.Ne3 Ke8 35.Rgf1 Rh8 36.Rxf6 Rxh3+ 37.Kg2 Rxe3 38.Kf2 Re4 39.Re1 Rxe1 40.Kxe1 Kd7 41.Kd2 Nc6 42.Rf7+ Kd6 43.a6 e5 44.dxe5+

2. 35 [+1.81] 27.Ng2 Rg8 28.Rf1+ Ke8 29.h4

In line 1. below...

27.Nc2 c5 28.Bxg5 cxd4 29.Bh6 Nxe5 30.Rf4+ Bf6 31.Bxf8 Rxf8 32.cxd4 Ng6 33.<Rf3>

evaluates to +3.00 and is winning.

I'm not real satisfied with this run by Critter <OCF>. Some of the moves here seem questionable to me. Going to run the same line with Houdini & see what shakes.

Hmmmmmm. I didn't expect that at all. Absolutely no way I'd expect 27...g5 Either I greatly overestimated Black's capacity to create a fortress or g6 is just plainly a horrible move. Assuming the engines are right, a really good assumption, that tells me all g6 does is change the lever from g5 to f5.
